Nithia Thaver currently serves as Chief Operating Officer of Freepoint Eco-Systems LLC. With over 30 years of experience in the manufacturing business, Mr. Thaver possesses a wide range of expertise across various segments, including Safety, Operations, Maintenance, Process Engineering, Capital Projects, Procurement, Strategic Planning and M&A. Before joining Freepoint Eco-Systems, Mr. Thaver managed Delek US’s refining operations as EVP and President of Refining. Previously, Mr. Thaver worked at Philadelphia Energy Solutions (PES), starting as Vice President and General Manager of the Girard Point Refinery before rising to roles as Vice President, Engineering and Technology, and finally as Senior Vice President, Strategy and Business Development. Mr. Thaver also worked as General Manager of Sunoco’s Marcus Hook Refinery and Vice President of Operations for Hovensa. Further, he held various Refining leadership roles at ExxonMobil and ConocoPhillips. Mr. Thaver holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (South Africa). He is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
