Jacco de Haas

Jacco de Haas currently holds the position of Chief Commercial Officer, Recycling Europe at Freepoint Eco-Systems. He is responsible for establishing various recycling activities to support the growth of Freepoint’s advanced recycling platform in Europe.

Prior to joining Freepoint Eco-Systems, Mr. de Haas served as Managing Director and CCO at Interzero Plastics Recycling (IPR), one of the largest plastic recycling service providers in Europe. Mr. de Haas also spent nearly 20 years in the chemical industry, leading global commercial efforts for companies like ICI, Croda, and most recently OQ Chemicals, where he was responsible for driving significant growth as VP of Global Sales and Business Development. He has a successful track record in delivering commercial excellence, facilitating capacity expansions and new production plant approvals, and establishing long-term partnerships and joint ventures. Mr. de Haas holds a Master of Business Administration from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
